Guitarist Paul Brown has gotten a leg up on the smooth jazz airplay chart with his single "Rhythm Method" from his brand-new album White Sand. The up-tempo groove has landed at Number 17 on the chart this week and remains one of the most-added tunes at radio.
While Brown is noted for his smooth jazz songwriting and production skills, he is also noted for his collaborative powers. On "Rhythm Method," he shared songwriting duties with keyboardist DC. He explained to us what role DC plays in the studio: "DC, he works with me, he runs my ProTools equipment and he also puts together tracks and writes and plays guitar. And we had written that song."
White Sand also features contributions from David Benoit, Al Jarreau, Bobby Caldwell, Boney James, Rick Braun, and Euge Groove.
