Plans for another Steely Dan album are still up in the air, according to the group's Donald Fagen. In a new interview with the Australian news site Undercover.com.au, Fagen said that he and partner Walter Becker are certainly open to making another Steely Dan album but haven't made any firm plans yet: "We haven't really spoken about it yet. We've been on the road a lot. I'd been working on my solo record (Morph the Cat) and Walter is just finishing his. As long as we are together there is always the chance we will make another one."
Steely Dan's last album was Everything Music Go in 2003.
Becker is expected to release his second solo album some time this year.
Steely Dan launches a world tour on May 5th in Memphis. After 25 North American shows, the trek moves to Europe in July, Japan in August, and Australia in September.
