Guitarist Joyce Cooling has released a second single from her brand-new album Revolving Door. The new tune is titled "At The Modern," and is produced by Cooling's longtime collaborator Jay Wagner. The first single from the project was "Mildred's Attraction," which is Number 28 on the national smooth jazz airplay chart.

 Cooling will perform this Thursday, January 18th, at Jazz At Jack's in Denver Colorado. The artist will play with Denver's Pockit Band for the first time.

The San Francisco Bay-bred artist says she's happy to provide encouragement for other female instrumentalists: "You know, they are out there. I meet them all the time on the road. They give me tapes, they give me CDs, they tell me, 'Oh, Hey!' I see their fliers, like, 'Hey, I got a band, I'm a drummer,' and na-na-na-na, 'I'm writing tunes.' They're out there just like I was out there. You know, more and more I think we'll poke through. It took us a long time to get any label interest or radio interest, you know, it was -- we chipped away at it for a long time. Other women will poke through, too. So, they are there."
