Marcus Miller DVD Features Interviews With Luther Vandross & Others

Bassist, composer, and producer Marcus Miller has released a special two-disk DVD retrospective called Master Of All Trades. The project not only includes footage of a two-hour concert, the second disc features two hours of bonus tracks as well as interviews with many of the artists Miller has collaborated with over the years.

Among the interviews is a segment with the late Luther Vandross. Miller served as musician, arranger, producer and co-writer on many of Vandross' albums, including his debut Never Too Much and the follow-up Forever, For Always, For Love.

There are also interviews with Stanley Clarke, Roberta Flack, Bill Withers, Herbie Hancock, Lalah Hathaway, and others.

Miller performs many of his best-known tunes, including "Lonnie's Lament," "Panther," and "Boomerang," as well as his versions of "Burning Down The House" and "When Your Life Was Low," among others.

The Grammy Award-winning Miller will host this summer's North Sea Jazz Cruise, departing from Copenhagen on July 5th. For more information, go to www.northseajazzcruise.nl.
