I am a three decade veteran broadcaster, Detroit-born and raised.  I get you the latest Traffic information for your Smooth Ride Home with Dave Koz, weekday afternoons, 3-7pm.  I also also host  the Smooth Jazz Brunch, Sundays, 9am-2pm.  I love this city and this radio station. I never lost my love for 'home', even after living in Southern California for over 20 years.    One of my favorite free-time activities is reading and keeping up with current events. I am also an avid sports nut, especially with the local teams. I am also a notorious trivia buff.  What free time I have, I try to spend with family and friends. I absolutely love getting out and meeting our listeners as often as I can, especially during the Summer months, at our many events.  One of my most memorable summers growing up in Detroit, was as a 12-year old Little Leaguer in  1969,  playing for the Cobras in the Southwest Detroit Little League. Our team team won the league championship with a 13 -2 win-loss record.  I have have also been a  ( WINNING)  contestant on several game shows, including  "GREED"   ( in 2000, on the FOX Network) hosted by Chuck Woolery.
