Saxophonist Dave Koz is preparing to launch his national tour in support of his Grammy-nominated set At The Movies. He is also putting the finishing touches on the program for his annual Dave Koz & Friends At Sea cruise which takes place this November. He also continues to oversee activities at his Rendezvous Entertainment label, and host his nationally syndicated radio show.
Asked how he manages so many facets of his career, Koz credits his team: "Great team of people. In every different avenue there are partners there that really help me be as effective as I possibly can in that endeavor. So if it's traveling the road, I have a wonderful road manager and great band and great crew that help make that as easy as possible. And my managers take care of a lot of the details on the record company side, great executives that work there and run that company. "
Koz is also putting together the track list for his first-ever greatest-hits package, due this fall on Capitol Records.
