An irate Perez Hilton posted a diatribe against YouTube on his web site, perezhilton.com, after his account was disabled because of a video he posted of Liza Minnelli collapsing on YouTube. He says had permission from the person who shot the video to post it on the popular site, and was confused by their decision and by their refusal to reply to his queries. So he posted his comments on a second YouTube account, asking them to contact him and explain why they disabled his account without giving him the two warnings that are supposedly required... only to have that account disabled, as well.
In his profanity laden comments on perezhilton.com, he says, in part, "What the f***???? WHAT THE F***?????? YouTube has just suspended our secondary YouTube account after we posted a very critical video about their practices. We just got this email response from YouTube, 'Since it's associated with the same e-mail as a closed account, it got disabled as well.' Bulls***! Ughhh. We have always been the biggest YouTube supporter and fan. We're heartbroken by their mismanagement of this whole situation.
Hilton added, "Note to anyone creating video and using video networking sites: don't keep all your eggs in one basket! You may get burned!"
He also stated that his website might be the biggest referrer of YouTube traffic on the Internet.
