Vanessa Hudgens Signs On For High School Musical 3
Vanessa Hudgens will return to Disney's High School Musical franchise for its third installment. US magazine is reporting that both the 18-year-old actress and her co-star Ashley Tisdale will receive substantial increases in pay to reprise their roles in the popular movie.
Hudgens future with family-friendly Disney was in doubt after nude pictures of the teen star surfaced online in September. She expressed her embarrassment over the situation and Disney seemed to support her at the time, acknowledging Hudgens' apology and saying that they hoped she'd learned her lesson.
High School Musical 3 will be the first of the films to have a theatrical release.
Co-stars Zac Efron, Corbin Bleu and Monique Coleman are still in negotiations.
High School Musical 2 drew 17 million viewers for its Disney Channel premiere.
