The back catalog of Irish performer Van Morrison will become available again beginning this month. A new worldwide exclusive reissue program by Polydor/Universal covers 29 albums by the "Moondance" artist, from 1971's Tupelo Honey through 2002's Down The Road, and also includes the 1997 2-CD collection The Story Of Them.
Each of the albums has been remastered with special, previously unreleased bonus material such as alternative takes or live versions. The reissues will feature all the original artwork and complete lyrics.
The reissue program will kick off January 29th with the release of six titles, all featuring bonus material. For example, Tupelo Honey features an alternative take of "Wild Night" while It's Too Late To Stop Now features a live version of "Brown Eyed Girl." Other titles available in the first rollout are Wavelength, A Sense Of Wonder, Avalon Sunset, and Back On Top.
