Toni Braxton was hospitalized overnight on April 6th in Las Vegas for an undisclosed ailment. According to the Las Vegas Sun, the 40-year-old singer had been experiencing chest pains and was forced to cancel her show at the Flamingo Hotel-Casino. A spokesperson said she underwent precautionary tests and is in "good condition." Braxton was expected to be released on April 8th.
Tuesday's Vegas gig was also scrapped so Braxton could "fully recover," but a rep from Flamingo Las Vegas says they're "looking forward to her return at the end of the week."
Braxton suffers from a heart disease called pericarditis, which is an inflammation of the lining of the heart.
Braxton's act, Toni Braxton: Revealed, also has shows scheduled Thursday, Friday and Saturday. It's part of her two-year Vegas stint, which kicked off in 2006.
