30 Rock star and lead writer Tina Fey won the best comedic actress Golden Globe on January 13th. Fey has amassed an impressive list of accolades over her career, including several Writers Guild of America Awards for her work as head writer at Saturday Night Live.
Fellow SNL veteran Tracy Morgan told us Tina Fey's blessed him by creating his 30 Rock Tracy Jordan: "Tina Fey? I've been blessed in my career, people who wrote things for me that suited me perfectly. Tina Fey, she allows me to fly over the cuckoo's nest every week. That's my alter ego, that's not me, that's my alter ego. You know what I'm saying? You partied with me. She's partied with me. We all know how crazy and woolly I can get and I get to put that on film and people love that."
Tina Fey has been a vocal part of the ongoing Writers Guild Of America strike. She was seen picketing out NBC's Rockefeller Center offices in New York City.
