a.      The Smooth Jazz V98.7 Trip-A-Day Giveaway Contest (“Contest”) will begin at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) and end at 1:00 p.m. ET(“Contest Times”) between June 30, 2008 and on August 29, 2008 (the “Contest Dates”).

b.      To enter, listeners must register for the Smooth Jazz V98.7 Listener Club (“Club”) by the end of the Contest Dates. Listeners may register for the Club by: (1) calling (313) 298-7625 and providing their first name, last name, complete address, city, state, ZIP Code, telephone number, date of birth and valid email address; (2) sending a card to Smooth Jazz V98.7, 26495 American Drive, Southfield, MI, 48034 with their first name, last name, complete address, city, state, ZIP Code, telephone number, date of birth and valid email address; or by (3) visiting the Smooth Jazz V98.7 web site at www.smoothjazzdetroit.com and registering online and providing their first name, last name, complete address, city, state, ZIP Code, telephone number, date of birth and valid email address to join the Club.  Current members of the Club as of the beginning of the Contest Dates will be automatically entered.

c.      Only one internet entry per person and one internet entry per email address is permitted. Internet entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. The authorized account holder is the natural person who is assigned to the email address by an internet access provider, online service provider or other organization that is responsible by assigning email address or the domain associated with the submitted email address.

d.      The Station is not responsible for entries not received due to difficulty accessing the internet, service outage or delays, computer difficulties or other technological glitches. The Station is not responsible for lost, stolen, mangled, misdelivered, postage due, illegible, incomplete or late entries. The Station is not responsible for telephone service outages, delays, busy signals, equipment malfunctions and any other technological difficulties that may prevent an individual from completing his/her telephone call.

a.      The contest is open to all persons who are U.S. residents, 21 years of age or older and residing in Michigan. Employees of WVMV(FM) (the “Station”), CBS Radio Inc., NWA World Vacations, and their parent, subsidiary and affiliated entities, employees of other Detroit area radio stations and their families are ineligible to participate in the contest.  Winners must have a valid social security number.

b.      Listeners are eligible to win a Smooth Jazz V98.7 contest only once every sixty days and one prize valued at $600 or more every six months. Only one winner per household is permitted in any Station contest.

c.      Entrants are required to provide truthful information and the Station will reject and delete any entry that it discovers to be false or fraudulent. The Station will disqualify any entry from individuals who do not meet the eligibility requirements, and the Station will also delete any entry knowingly received from persons under the age of 13 in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.

a.      A maximum of fifteen (15) Prizes: each Prize is a prize certificate valid for a trip for two (2) (winner and guest age 21 or older) to Jamaica including up to $1,000 to be applied toward the prizewinner and guest’s round trip airfare to and from Jamaica and up to $1,000 to be applied toward accommodations. Air and accommodation credits are not redeemable for cash and are based on availability; blackout dates and restrictions apply. All other costs, including but not limited to meals, entertainment, tips and incidental expenses are not covered.  Travel must be booked by January 31, 2009. Travel must be completed by February 28, 2009. Trips must be booked per the instructions on the certificates and can be extended and/or upgraded at the winner’s expense, should they desire to do so. Once the trip is confirmed, changes (guest’s name, date, etc) may result in change fees that will solely be the winner’s responsibility.  Approximate Retail Value: $2,000 per Prize.  Prize certificates are non-replaceable, and have no value, if lost, stolen, destroyed or expired.  Winners and guests must meet any travel related requirements established by the advertising sponsor, the applicable airline flown at the time of taking the trip, and/or the U.S. Government. There is no substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent for prizes, except that the Station may, at its sole discretion, substitute prizes of comparable value or cash. The prizes are expressly limited to the item(s) listed above and do not include taxes, gratuities or any other expenses. Other restrictions may apply.

a.      Decisions of Station management with respect to the Contest are final.

b.      Each weekday (Monday through Friday) throughout the Contest Dates (excluding July 4, 2008 other holidays and certain weekdays upon announcement), or until the fifteen Prizes have been awarded, which ever occurs first, the Station will select in a random drawing of all members of the Club one (1) potential winner. The name of each potential winner will be announced on-air between 9:00am and 1:00pm in a “Thanks for Listening” announcement. The potential winner announced on-air, and only that Club member, will have 30 minutes to call (313) 298-7625 to confirm their identity, and their personal identifying information, and to claim their Prize pending verification of eligibility. If the potential winner fails to call within the 30-minute time period and provide the required identification, the prize will be forfeited, and the potential winner’s name will be re-entered in the next consecutive drawing.

c.      The Station reserves the right to extend the end date of the Contest solely at its own discretion upon prior notification to listeners. The Station further reserves the right to announce additional randomly selected “Bonus Names” from time to time throughout the Contest Dates.

d.      The Station reserves the right to announcing the approximate time for the next opportunity to win following the Contest Times on each day during the Contest Dates.

e.      Unless otherwise specified in the prize notification, all prizes or prize certificates may be picked up at the office of the Station at the address below. The winner will forfeit any prize or prize certificate not claimed within thirty (30) days of winning. In the event that a prize or prize certificate is mailed to the winner, it will be with the prior written consent of the winner and therefore, winner assumes the risk of its loss. The Station is not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize or prize certificate.

a.      Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the winners. Winners will be required to complete and submit an IRS Form W-9 with the winner’s full Social Security Number or the equivalent for receipt of any prize valued at $600 or more or for any prizes awarded by the Station in a calendar year with an aggregate value of $600 or more. Failure to submit a complete W-9 or equivalent will result in forfeiture of the prize.

b.      By participating in the contest, the winner or winners agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize.

c.      Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, the Station in its sole discretion may require contest winners (and their travel companions, if any) to sign a liability release, agreeing to hold the Station, its corporate licensee, its parent, subsidiary and affiliated entities, and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest.

d.      The Station, in is sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the Station’s Web Site or is otherwise in violation of the rules. It further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the contest if it is not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort.

e.      The Station reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize of equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement. If due to circumstances beyond the control of the Station, any travel or prize-related event is delayed, rescheduled, postponed or cancelled, the Station reserves the right, but not the obligation, to cancel or modify the contest and shall not be required to award a substitute prize.

f.        Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant’s disqualification solely at the discretion of the Station.

g.      The Station is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest, or in the announcement of a prize.
