Classic, Grammy-winning hits by Toni Braxton, Sade, Whitney Houston, Anita Baker and Luther Vandross are included on the new disk Ultimate Grammy Collection: Contemporary R&B. It's one of seven different genre CDs due November 27th, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Grammy Awards.
Also among the Contemporary R&B set's sixteen tracks are tunes by Terence Trent D'Arby, Ray Charles, Boyz II Men, Beyonce, and R. Kelly.
Another title in the series, Contemporary Pop, includes Grammy winning tunes by Norah Jones, Macy Gray, Seal, Annie Lennox, Eric Clapton, and k.d. lang.
Each disk in the series includes a personal introduction written by 27-time Grammy Award winner and 50th Celebration Ambassador Quincy Jones.
The CDs become available just three days before the November 30th broadcast of My Night At The Grammys, a two-hour CBS special highlighting 25 favorite Grammy moments as voted on by music fans.
