Smooth Jazz Trumpeter Rick Braun and saxophonist Richard Elliot have regained the Number One spot on the smooth jazz airplay chart with their tune "R 'n' R," which is also the title tune of their current CD.
After eight weeks at Number One, the party tune was knocked out of the top spot for one week by guitarist Jeff Golub's version of "Ain't No Woman (Like The One I've Got)." But Braun and Elliot battled back to the top this week.
R'n'R, the first fully recorded effort by the longtime friends and business partners, also features performances by Jeff Lorber, Philippe Saisse, Rex Rideout, and others.
