Grammy winner Norah Jones' new single "Thinking About You" is fast rising on the smooth jazz airplay chart. The tune is also getting a boost, since her label, Blue Note Records, has become the latest label to experiment with selling tracks online in unprotected MP3 format. The label gave Yahoo! Music permission to sell Jones' new single in the unprotected format, which went on sale last week. The format is compatible with Apple's iPod.

The single is from Jones' forthcoming album titled Not Too Late, due January 30th. The single is Number 20 on the national smooth jazz radio chart this week.
