Grammy winner Norah Jones' first foray into film acting is finally coming to theaters in the U.S. The romantic comedy My Blueberry Nights, directed by Wong Kar-Wai, will be shown in limited release starting February 13th, 2008. The indie film also stars Jude Law, Tim Roth, Rachel Weisz, Kevin Spacey, Ed Harris and Natalie Portman.
Jones plays a woman who takes a road trip across America searching for true love. The film, which has already been screened at international film festivals, was originally scheduled for release around June 2007.
Meanwhile, Jones has penned a new song for the My Blueberry Nights soundtrack, titled "The Story." The soundtrack will be released February 5th on Blue Note and will also feature performances by Ry Cooder, Cassandra Wilson, and others.
Jones' third album, called Not Too Late, was released on January 31st.
