Monday Night Football's December 3rd match-up between the New England Patriots and the Baltimore Ravens became the most viewed program in the history of cable television. The patriots narrow victory drew ESPN an audience of 17.5 million, surpassing Disney's previous record of 17.2 million set by High School Musical 2 in August.
11 of the 12 most-watched shows on cable in 2007 are Monday Night Football games on ESPN.
The Patriots are undefeated and could end up as the second NFL team ever to go through the season without a loss.
