Vocalist Michael McDonald and veteran R&B/pop band Earth, Wind & Fire have announced that they will be performing tandem tour dates in the fall. The co-headlining dates begin August 27th in Jacksonville, Oregon, and wrap September 20th in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
McDonald has a full schedule of solo dates ahead of his gigs with EWF. He is currently on tour in Europe, and his next Stateside performance will be July 4th at Nashville's Riverfront Park. For more of his schedule, log onto michaelmcdonald.com.
Earth, Wind & Fire -- featuring original members Philip Bailey, Verdine White, and Ralph Johnson -- has had success in recent years on summer tours with the band Chicago.
McDonald's most recent CD is 2007's Soul Speaks, featuring the multi-format hits " Your Love (Keeps Lifting Me Higher)," and "Love TKO."
