Michael Lington's First Two Albums To Be Re-Released

Michael LingtonSaxophonist Michael Lington, who signed to the revived NuGroove label earlier this year, has seen two of his earlier albums re-released this month. Fans of the Denmark native, who recently became a U.S. resident, can now once again purchase his1997 self-titled debut and his 2000 CD Vivid, which were previously unavailable.

Lington is currently putting the finishing touches on his debut studio album for NuGroove, due later this year. He said he was thrilled to be signed by CEO David Chackler to the revived label: "They were gone for a while, yeah, but I've always kept in contact with David Chackler, who heads it. And when the opportunity came up and we were talking to a few different labels, I could just sense that he would be the right guy for this project. He really wanted this album, and we're gonna have some fun doing this album together and he actually came up with some unbelievably great ideas. I'm really excited about it."

Lington's previous CD was A Song For You on Rendezvous Entertainment.
