 Veteran guitarist, composer and producer Lee Ritenour will be honored with the George Benson Lifetime Achievement Award at the 4th Annual Canadian Smooth Jazz Awards. Ritenour will be the fourth recipient of the special honor after Benson himself, keyboardist Bob James, and Spyro Gyra.
Nominees for the awards include Diana Krall, newcomer Ryan Shaw, Randy Crawford, Peter White, Jeff Lorber, Rick Braun, Richard Elliot, Les Sabler, Michael Buble, Four80 East, and Warren Hill, among others.
The 4th Annual Canadian Smooth Jazz Awards will be presented on Friday, March 7th, 2008 in Hammerson Hall at The Living Arts Centre in Mississauga, Ontario.
Nominee - Smooth Jazz V98.7 Morning Man and flutist - Alexander Zonjic will host.
