Guitarist Lee Ritenour and keyboardist Dave Grusin have released their reunion CD Amparo this week. The project is a classical crossover recording featuring guest appearances by pop artist James Taylor, soprano Renee Fleming, violinist Joshua Bell, and trumpet star Chris Botti.
Ritenour will join with Grusin for a special orchestral performance of the music from Amparo on November 20th at New York City's Town Hall.
Before then, Ritenour will perform a solo date September 20th at the Fort Worth Jazz By The Boulevard Festival in Fort Worth, Texas.
