Perennial chart-topper Kenny G does it again this year, with three albums in Billboard's Top Contemporary Jazz Albums year end chart. Also named the top contemporary jazz artist of the year, the saxophonist logged three CDs in the Top 10: I'm in the Mood for Love ... The Most Romantic Melodies of All Time at Number One; Holiday Collection at Number Three; and The Essential Kenny G at Number Nine.
The rest of the 2007 top ten albums include Al Jarreau & George Benson's Givin' It Up at Number Two; Dave Koz at Number Four with At The Movies, followed by Boney James' Shine at Number Five.
Number Six is December by Chris Botti, followed by Norman Brown's Stay With Me at Number Seven and Simply Red's Stay at Number Eight. Herbie Hancock's multi-artist set River: The Joni Letters, wraps up the Top 10.
