Kenny G, who is one of the best-selling instrumentalists in the world, has lent his name to a new line of saxophones. The launch came at the annual National Association of Music Merchandisers conference, known as NAMM, in Southern California over the weekend. The popular sax man unveiled several models in the G-Series Saxophones and Educational Series Saxophones, which were co-designed by Rheuben Allen, a saxophone repair specialist and designer.
Three soprano saxophones for professionals were unveiled, along with alto and tenor models for students.
At the NAMM show, held in Anaheim, Kenny also performed tracks from his upcoming CD Rhythm And Romance, which is due February 5th.
