Just when we're getting over the fact that Joss Stone likes the occasional spliff, we learn that she's also fond of her booze... and, in fact, blames her affection for the bottle on being British. "I've been drinking beer since I was 13," the smooth jazz Grammy singer reportedly told the Sun. "I'm English! Sometimes I smoke, sometimes I drink. But I don't go on binges."
Stone then attempted to justify her passion for potent potables, saying, "I'm not a genuine bad girl, I don't want to ruin my voice. But when I'm home in England, I have a beer and a smoke. I even smoke weed."
Stone also admits to keeping her eyes closed while performing live because she's scared of looking out at a sea of faces that are staring back at her. She also performs barefoot to help prevent falling while singing.
Her third album, Introducing Joss Stone, entered the Billboard chart at Number Two.
