Jon Voight Credits 'National Treasure' Success To Nicolas Cage
Academy Award winning actor Jon Voight is crediting Nicolas Cage, his co-star in National Treasure: Book Of Secrets, for the film's impressive two-week haul at the box office. Voight, who plays the father figure in the movie, told us of Cage: "There's something magical in the way, in his playing this role, he's perfect for it. He's very romantic. He's got physical action in his repertoire. And he's got a great sense of humor. And just the composition of it, it's sensational. And he's very clever, he's smart. He's very smart. He himself is smart. He's very clever."
National Treasure: Book Of Secrets has brought in more than $150 million in its first two-plus weeks of release.
National Treasure: Book Of Secrets should do well at the box office this weekend. Only one new film -- the horror flick One Missed Call -- opens wide this weekend.
