Director John Singleton is in talks to direct a movie version of he 1980s hit TV show The A-Team, reports variety.com. The director is talking about casting possibilities, and one rumor has mentioned Ice Cube, who appeared in his first film, Boyz N The Hood, as a potential for the role of B.A. Baracas, originally played by Mr T. However, Twentieth-Century Fox, who is in talks with Singleton, has denied that possibility.
The remake script revolves around a group of Iraq vets, who are wanted by the U.S. military for a crime they didn't commit, and who help the innocent while running from the law.
