Jenna Bush Calls Her Dad On The Ellen DeGeneres Show
George Bush made a surprise appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show yesterday -- with some help from his daughter Jenna. DeGeneres asked the younger Bush how easy is it for her to get a hold of her father and then prompted her to try and reach the President as they were sitting on set.
Although Jenna worried out loud that her father would be mad and wouldn't give her anything she asked for for Christmas, both Laura and George Bush appeared delighted to have heard from their daughter. After Laura passed the phone off to her husband, Jenna revealed she was on Ellen's show, and the President responded, "Well, that's great! How's my little girl doing?" Ellen assured him that Jenna was great and was told that he wasn't mad as Jenna suspected, rather "excited to talk to you. I'm glad to talk to Ellen."
