Janet Jackson Rumored To Have Secretly Married Jermaine Dupri
After more than a year of rumors that wedding bells were imminent, Internet sites are now reporting that superstar Janet Jackson wed her longtime beau, producer and music executive Jermaine Dupri, this past Saturday in a hush-hush ceremony for a small group of friends and family in Atlanta. If the reports are true, this would be the third wedding for the 41-year-old Jackson, and the first for the 34-year-old Dupri, who heads the Island Black Music division at Island/Def Jam.
A source had earlier told MediaTakeOut.com: "Janet wants very much to keep the event private. So don't expect anything over the top. It will be small -- only have close friends and family -- and definitely no one from the media will be invited."
Jackson and Dupri have been dating since 2001. Dupri also co-produced the music on her 2006 release 20 Y.O. together with Jackson, Jimmy "Jam" Harris and Terry Lewis.
