After being fired as Britney Spears' assistant after three weeks, Shannon Funk is shopping a tell-all about her time with the troubled star. Gossip blogger Perez Hilton says he was contacted by Funk to arrange an interview once he posted news of the split, but she later canceled their planned meeting because other news outlets had offered up to $500,000 to hear behind-the-scenes Britney news.

Spears reportedly dumped Funk after deeming her a negative influence. Funk had been mentioned in the OK! magazine's article about a disastrous interview/photoshoot as having tried to take clothing, and only begrudgingly cleaning up after Britney's dog.

Funk claims she did not a sign a confidentiality report when she was under Spears' employment.

In other Britney news, her bodyguard was cited in Las Vegas for attacking a photographer who accidentally bumped into Spears' son, Sean Preston.
