Eric Clapton's 'Crossroads Guitar Festival' Coming To DVD
Eric Clapton's 2007 Crossroads Guitar Festival is coming to DVD on November 20th. Billboard.com reports the two-disc set features 38 tracks from the July 28th show outside Chicago. Among the performers are Clapton, Jeff Beck, Sheryl Crow, John Mayer, Buddy Guy, B.B. King, Steve Winwood, Willie Nelson and others. Clapton and Winwood's collaboration marks the Blind Faith members first time on stage together in 25 years. Clapton also performs some Derek and the Dominos material and does a cover of George Harrison's "Isn't It a Pity." The Band's Robbie Robertson joins Clapton on Bo Diddley's "Who Do You Love."
Clapton will release a two-CD retrospective, titled Complete Clapton, on October 9th. Also due the same day is his autobiography. The book chronicles Clapton's career and personal life -- from his days with the Yardbirds, to the accidental death of his four-year-old son.
He's set to make appearances next week on NBC's Today and CNN's Larry King Live.
