R&B singer Eric Benet is rising on the urban adult airplay charts with his new single "You're The Only One" from his forthcoming CD Love And Life. Now, the singer and his teenaged daughter India have created a catchy YouTube video of the tune that will no doubt help raise awareness for the project.
In the new four-minute home video, Benet introduces his daughter. The two of them then perform an a cappella version of "You're The Only One," with India handling choruses and harmony. Father and daughter make a great team, even when India seems to get lost on the way to the bridge but quickly catches up with a laugh.
Benet has raised India by himself for the most part after the child's mother died in a car accident when she was still an infant. During Benet's ill-fated two-year marriage to Halle Berry, the Oscar winner reportedly legally adopted India.
Benet's Love And Life is due on September 9th. His last album was 2005's Hurricane
