Drew Carey is back to work on his two game shows today (August 13th) after suffering an on-the-job injury. Carey was rushed to the hospital during Price Is Right rehearsals on Friday (August 10th) when his arm got caught in a revolving turntable used for the show's Grocery Game. Carey ended up bruising his bone, and possibly his ego, during the mishap.
Carey was back on the Price Is Right set late Friday afternoon to finish his rehearsal. He'll debut as Price Is Right host this fall.
Carey was named Bob Barker's successor on the Price Is Right in late July. His Grocery Game injury is the first of its kind in more than 30 years.
Carey is also hosting Power Of Ten, which airs Wednesdays on CBS.
