Diddy Gets Denied Fireworks At His Hampton's White Party
Diddy's annual White Party on Long Island will go on this year -- just without fireworks. According to E! Online, the East Hampton Town Council has rejected his permit request to launch an all-white fireworks display at the September 2nd bash. Council members are citing safety concerns, saying the display would attract boats of onlookers to dangerously rocky waters nearby.
Diddy had already teamed up with Long Island's Fireworks by Grucci to host a show estimated to cost at about $100,000.
The White Party always attracts a number of celebrities. Past guests have included Snoop Dogg, Hugh Hefner, Bruce Willis, Paris Hilton, Ivanka Trump and Aretha Franklin.
