Dave Koz is already looking ahead to his next project. The saxophonist has been happy with the response he's received from his orchestral set, At the Movies, and says he loved doing an album with vocalists Vanessa Williams, Barry Manilow and others. But he tells us the next effort will be different: "I think the next album that I will make will probably be a return to my roots. And even though this was really was a dream come true project, it was very vocal-heavy and orchestra-heavy obviously and that was a wonderful experience. But I feel sort of the need to start getting back on that saxophone and really exploring that again."
Koz's next show is set for April 12th in Wellington, Florida.
The next Dave Koz & Friends Jazz Cruise is scheduled for November 2008.
Koz recently released an expanded CD/DVD version of his Grammy-nominated CD, At the Movies: Double Feature.
