Corinne Bailey Rae Helps Out Katrina Victims

corinne bailey rae, hurricane katrinaBritish singer Corinne Bailey Rae is lending her voice to help rebuild New Orleans. She recorded a version of the Fats Domino song "One Night (Of Sin)" for the double album Goin Home: A Tribute to Fats Domino. The track was recorded at the legendary New Orleans club Tipitina's; the album also includes songs from Paul McCartney, Elton John, Lenny Kravitz, Bonnie Raitt and Norah Jones. Proceeds from the project will go towards helping rebuild the city's devastated 9th Ward and to buying musical instruments for New Orleans schoolchildren.

Goin' Home was just released last week.
