Corinne Bailey Rae, Robin Thicke Nominated For MOBO Awards

U.K. songbird Corinne Bailey Rae has been nominated for an award at this year's MOBO Awards. The 11th annual presentation for the U.K's Music Of Black Origin honors has also issued nominations for Robin Thicke, the Pussycat Dolls, and Wynton Marsalis. The awards will be held September 19th at the O2 Arena in London, England.

Rae is nominated for best UK Female this year. She earned two awards, including Best UK Female, at the 2006 ceremonies for her self-titled debut set.

Thicke's "Lost Without U" earned a nomination in the Best Song category. The Pussycat Dolls -- whose version of "Feelin' Good" has gained smooth jazz airplay -- were cited in the video category for "Wait A Minute."

Trumpet master Marsalis is named in the best jazz artist category alongside Dee Dee Bridgewater and British jazz artists.
