Batman Begins actor Christian Bale has been tapped by Warner Bros. to star in Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins. Although his role in the film has not yet been determined, the movie is being described as a big departure from the Arnold Schwarzenegger versions of the franchise. However, the 33-year-old Bale is likely to play the role of a grown-up John Connor, who must build a resistance group with his soon-to-be wife Kate.
Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins should hit theaters in 2009.
