Singer Chante Moore is back on the scene with her latest CD, Love The Woman. In addition to the original tunes on the set, including her single "It Ain't Supposed To Be That Way," the songbird reunited with producer George Duke for two special tracks: a remake of Minnie Riperton's "Give Me Time" and a version of Nancy Wilson's "Guess Who I Saw Today."
So was Moore at all intimidated by redoing well-known works by revered artists? Not really, as she explained: "When you love something or someone or some music or whatever it is, I think you come at it with such a pure heart, and that's what I really feel about those songs."
Moore's Love The Woman is her first studio album in eight years, and is also her debut for Peak Records.
