Veteran singer Chaka Khan and smooth jazz saxophonist Boney James are among the headliners for this year's Jazz On The River festival, set for September 8th and 9th on the Russian River in Guerneville, California. The 31st annual festival brings world-class jazz, food, and wine to the area's Johnson Beach.

Khan and James will both perform on Saturday's line-up, along with Poncho Sanchez and Ledisi.

Sunday's line-up will feature Norman Brown's Summer Storm featuring Peabo Bryson, Marion Meadows and Jeff Lorber; Joe Sample; trumpeter Christian Scott; and Lavay Smith & Her Red Hot Skillet Lickers.
