Proud father Joel Madden can't stop gushing about his new daughter, Harlow Winter Kate Madden. On his blog, the rocker posted an entry about his baby with girlfriend Nicole Richie, telling fans that little Harlow "looks so much like her mom its crazy." He also reveals that the new arrival eats like a maniac, is really sweet, and barely ever cries.

It's official: All six of the High School Musical stars will return for a third and final installment of the hit Disney franchise. The studio announced on January 14th that Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu, Monique Coleman and Lucas Grabeel will all be back for HSM 3: Senior Year, the first of the films to have a theatrical release. Following the breakout success of Efron, and Hudgens' recent nude picture scandal, the fate of their characters was unknown.

A Playboy Playmate is claiming that David Spade is the father of her unborn child, TMZ.com reports. Twenty two year-old Jillian Grace, Miss March 2005, is alleging that she had a relationship Spade and is carrying his child. "I had a brief relationship with Jillian Grace," Spade tells TMZ. "If it is true that I am the father of her child, then I will accept responsibility."

Matthew McConaughey announced that his girlfriend, Camilla Alves, is pregnant with his child. McConaughey posted the announcement on his website: "My girlfriend Camila and I made a baby together ... it's 3 months growing in her womb and all looks healthy and lively so far."

Afghanistan will not allow anyone in the country to watch or import the film, The Kite Runner. The government has enacted the ban on grounds that the story about the troubled friendship of two Afghan boys could incite violence in the country. After another film, The Kabul Express, sparked protests over its sensitive material, the state-run Afghan Film announced that The Kite Runner, which includes a rape scene and religious conflicts, would not be shown.

Will Smith's nine-year-old son Jaden has joined the cast of the sci-fi thriller remake, The Day the Earth Stood Still. The younger Smith, who starred alongside his father in The Pursuit of Happyness, will play the stepson of a scientist who first makes contact with a humanoid alien. Keanu Reeves and Jennifer Connelly also star in the film.

In addition to accidentally overdosing his newborn twins with a blood thinner, Cedars Sinai Medical Center purposefully mislead Dennis Quaid regarding his children's true condition. As staff members were rushing to undo damage caused by the overdose, Quaid and his wife Kimberly were told that the babies were fine. The hospital did not address the claim directly but said that they have "reached out to the Quaids to discuss any questions or concerns they have." Dennis and Kimberly sued the makers of the drug on which their children overdosed, claiming that they were negligent in packaging the doses, whose similar labels led to the problem.

Pulp Fiction writer Roger Avary apologized on January 14th for a weekend car accident that killed his friend and seriously injured his wife. Avary was arrested after the crash on suspicion of manslaughter and driving under the influence, and is free on $50,000 bail. "Roger wishes to publicly convey his heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased," he said in a statement released by his publicist. "Words cannot express how sorry he is, and this tragic accident will always haunt him." Avary will be arraigned on January 18th.

Ellen DeGeneres was deemed America's favorite television personality, according to a poll released on Monday (January 14th). The daytime host dethroned Oprah Winfrey, who had held the top spot on the annual Harris Poll for the last five years. Winfrey fell to Number Two on the list and was followed by Jay Leno, British actor Hugh Laurie and Jon Stewart in the top five. Harris broke down the results for the top spot and revealed that single women prefer Ellen while married women favor Oprah.

Bravo is debuting a spin-off of its popular reality series, The Real Housewives of Orange County. The network headed east and will premiere The Real Housewives of New York City on March 4th.

Newlywed Eva Longoria says the little extra on the tummy of her petite frame is not due to pregnancy, just a lot of home cooking while she waits for Desperate Housewives to resume shooting. During promotional interviews for her new film, Over Her Dead Body, she said, "No pregnancy, not yet. I've been cooking and eating, cooking and eating. I keep telling everyone that I've gained 10 pounds just being on strike."
