The Disney power couple is allegedly fighting because Vanessa is sick of sharing her makeup with Zac when he gets a pimple and listening to him obsess over his weight. An insider told Star magazine that, "Vanessa wants Zac to realize that it's okay if he doesn't always look perfect. She would love him even if he didn't look like a Teen Beat cover boy. In fact, she would probably love him more if he relaxed about his looks and got a little scuffed up once in a while."
Keifer Sutherland started serving a 48 day jail sentence on December 4 stemming from a DUI arrest earlier this year. The 24 star entered the Glendale City jail in California and began serving his sentence earlier than he had to. He could have waited until as late as February 12. "Kiefer made the decision to surrender to custody immediately," his attorney, told The Associated Press. Sutherland was on probation on a 2004 DUI when he was arrested in October.
A year after its release, Borat is facing another lawsuit from one of the Kazakh journalist's unknowing co-stars in the hit 2006 film. Michael Psenicska, who owns a driving school in Maryland, filed suit in U.S. District Court in Manhattan on Tuesday (December 4th), seeking $100,00 in compensatory damages because images of him teaching Sasha Baron Cohen to drive were used extensively to advertise the movie, which earned hundred of millions of dollars at the box office. Although Psenicska signed a release giving consent to use his image, he claims it was under false pretenses.
Frenemies Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton are at odds again -- over their shared ex-boyfriend, Stavros Niarchos. The New York Post is reporting that Hilton showed up at a Hollywood club earlier this week and tried to hook up with Niarchos, who allegedly wanted nothing to do with her. The Greek shipping heir then left the party to meet up with Lohan while Hilton wandered around wondering where he had gone.
Angelina Jolie is hoping to emulate the success of Matt Damon and his Bourne franchise by starring in an upcoming spy thriller. The film, which is based on the real-life intelligence operative Kathi Lynn Austin's experiences, was pitched to Paramount in similar fashion as The Bourne Identity. The untitled picture will feature a fictional arms dealer inspired by Victor Bout, who is considered one of the world's most prolific dealers in illegal munitions.
A man accused of stalking Uma Thurman refused a plea deal that would have settled charges against him but put him in a psychiatric facility. Jack Jordan, a former mental patient, refused to plead guilty to attempted coercion, which is a felony but would have been reduced to a misdemeanor if he completed the psychiatric program. Jordan was arrested in October after stalking the actress for two years, including trying to break into her movie trailer and sending emails to her and her family.
Simon Cowell's longtime girlfriend Terri Seymour revealed that she will leave the American Idol judge once she is ready to start a family. The Entertainment Tonight correspondent says that she will eventually leave her beau of five years because she wants to have children and he does not.
