Candy Dulfer Can't Wait To Work On Her Next Album

Dutch saxophonist Candy Dulfer's latest album Candy Store came out two weeks ago, and she\'s playing some shows to promote it, but she's actually so excited by making the album that she can't wait to get back in the studio and work on the next one. She says she and her keyboardist and collaborator Thomas Bank are already well under way: "From the beginning when we were making this album we were already thinking ahead and we have five or I think ten tracks lying there already that we could use for the next album. and Thomas has been very creative, he wrote a couple of songs just when we came back from the tour so yeah, I think the last experience made me really, yeah, wanna make new albums again."

Dulfer is slated to perform at the upcoming Catalina Island JazzTrax festival in Avalon, California on Saturday, October 6th.
