'Til Death and Everybody Loves Raymond star Brad Garrett was in an altercation with photographers late Sunday night (August 12th) that had a decidedly Michael Richards flair to it. The scuffle started outside of Nobu restaurant in Malibu, when a photographer of color confronted Garrett about saying "I didn't know there were black people in Malibu" last week. The shutterbug reportedly pointed out to Garrett that there were "more black people here this time," to which Garrett responded, "Yeah, I know. When did they let you out?"
The photographer then called Garrett a "racist" and Garrett lunged at him. However, Garrett mistakenly struck another photographer's camera to the ground. That photographer works for TMZ, and now says he's suffering from minor injuries, including a swollen eye.
TMZ isn't pressing charges against Garrett because its camera equipment was not harmed.
