Alicia Keys has set her sights on collaborating with Detroit rockers the White Stripes. According to NME.com, Keys said she's "dying" to work with the duo and even tried to get them to guest on her upcoming album, called As I Am. Although the timing didn't work out this time around, Keys isn't giving up hope just yet. She said, "Me and the White Stripes are going to do something crazy." Keys also wants to work with Queens Of The Stone Age. She said, "If we did something together, it would be incredible."
Keys' new album, which comes out in October, will feature a collaborations with John Mayer and songwriter Linda Perry. She premiered six new songs at a playback party earlier this week.
The White Stripes are currently touring behind their new album, Icky Thump.
