Weeds co-star Elizabeth Perkins is looking forward to this year's Emmy Awards, where she's once again nominated in the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series category. Perkins is no stranger to walking awards show red carpets, and this year she plans to learn from past mistakes. Perkins told us she'll wear a light dress to the gala, as opposed to the 2006 ceremony when she was wearing a heavy dress: "I was so hot because I had this giant Badgley Mischka dress that I had to go into the bathroom and like literally take off my dress and wipe myself down with tissues. The show was starting and my category was up first. But if I hadn't and I had won, I would have slipped right off the stage from the amount of liquid pouring off my body."
New episodes of Weeds airs Mondays at 10:00 p.m. ET on Showtime, with reruns airing throughout the week.
The 59th Primetime Emmy Awards air September 16th.
